Elmer's Place has been a New Britain institution since 1976 — a neighborhood bar on East Street where generations of CCSU students, faculty, and locals have called home. We're not trying to be anything other than what we are: a great bar with cold beer, great wings, and a room full of people who love it here.
As a proud sponsor of CCSU athletics, the Blue Devils have always had a home at Elmer's. Whether it's a big game on Saturday, DJ night on Thursday, or karaoke on Friday, there's always something going on and always a friendly face behind the bar.
We accept the CCSU BlueChip card for food. We deliver to campus. We're your bar.
In late 2024, Elmer's Place was acquired alongside Ted's Restaurant & Bar in Storrs, CT — bringing the same great ownership and commitment to good food, cold drinks, and community to both spots.
